SMS Opt In Consent
Users of the DinkSmart app can invite their personal contacts to RSVP to Pickleball matches at a future date and time. To do this, they import contacts from their native OS contact list, and select a contact name to add to the match invitation. DinkSmart sends a one-time, transactional SMS stating they’ve been invited to a match by a named individual (that they know.)
These messages include the sender’s name, match details, and a link to respond to the match invitation. We ensure users only invite people they know through iOS/Android native import from contacts technology (you cannot manually enter a phone number,) and we limit the number of outbound invites to 7 per user per match. Every message includes clear opt-out language.
